Best Beginnings STARS to Quality

The Best Beginnings STARS to Quality Program is a voluntary quality rating improvement system that aligns quality indicators with support and incentives for early childhood programs and early childhood professionals.

The program began with a field test in the summer of 2010, geographically distributed statewide. The field test will allowed time to analyze the program, work through any challenges, and maximize the current limited funding. The STARS to Quality program has ended the field test and is now in a Continuous Quality Improvement Stage.

Resources and support through coaching, technical assistance, professional development, and STAR kits will be available for those child care programs selected for  the STARS Program.
